Lucas turns 5!

First can I just say, holy smokes I have a five year old! Crazy! Here are a few pics from Lucas' "Cars" birthday party.
We decided to go with a pinata this year. I don't think this one was intended for 5 years olds. Brian finally stepped in and attacked it, but here are some heartfelt attempts.

Lucas and his "Dinoco McQueen" cake. He had a blast with a few close buddies, and as usual was spoiled by grandparents all around.

Easter Haul

Easter was hoppin' at the Bitner house(pardon the pun).

The Easter Bunny seemed to like the carrots and celery. Did you know he likes ranch? Well he does.

Janie's Blessing

What a beautiful day. Beautiful blessing, beautiful food, beautiful baby(I can say that right?). Our sweet Janie was perfect for her blessing. She just gazed up in silence as Brian gave the blessing. I'm so grateful Brian was able to bless her. It was so wonderful and a moment I will always cherish.

I could just eat her up! Lucas came up to me and handed me a dollar while I was taking these. When I asked him what it was for, he sweetly said, "To buy Janie a new sweater."
